ARSENAL JANUARY TRANSFER TARGETS
Arsenal has gone through a lot in recent weeks negatively and there is so much need to re-write the wrongs before it is too late by signing a new set of players in January. The Gunners started the season with so much optimism after they won the FA cup and the community Shield within a month coupled with the major signings they made during the summer window which include the likes of Willian from Chelsea, Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille, Thomas Partey from Atletico Madrid and more.Following these above signings, things hasn’t been going well for Mikel Arteta and his boys as they sit 15th on the premier league table with just 14 points after 14 match weeks. This indeed is a bad record for the gunners as they are now tagged a team fighting for relegation. This has now give rise to series of issues to attend to. The gunners are now planning to have a major recruitment in January so as to have things move the way they want it. Let’s take a look at some of the major transfer targets for Arsenal come January. Houssem Aouar: Aouar is a young creative player who is a major transfer target for Arsenal in recent months. Following the exclusion of Mesut Ozil [who is the (maybe) only creative player for arsenal right now]; from the Arsenal squad in the premier league, they have struggled with scoring goals which is down to creativity issue and bringing a young Aouar from Lyon to the squad to fill the void space will be a huge boost to the squad.Maxi Gomez: The Valencia forward will be a good addition to the Arsenal squad as he could be of help and as an alternative to Aubameyang, and Lacazette. Gomez is valued at £125million but Valencia could let Gomez leave for a price below £125million.Emiliano Buendia: Buendia has been an outstanding player for Norwich right from last when they were relegated to this current season in the championship. The 23year old has been the creator in chief for the Norwich side as he has setup five goals in ten games. Other players which could also be on the gunners transfer target include John Stones from Manchester City, Isco from Real madrid and Christen Erikson from Inter Milan. This will also be a major boost for the gunners and also for the situation they find themselves in the league this season. What is that thing the gunners are not getting right this season?Do you think making this above signings will bring things back to normal?Drop your comments below.
